About Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School

A Christ-centered community where faith shapes every lesson, every relationship, and every graduate.

Who We Are

A Ministry of Jesus Christ Since 2004

CORLHS is more than a school — it’s a ministry where His Word is the foundation of everything we do.

Our Mission

To educate and equip young people with both faith and knowledge, guiding them to become confident, responsible Christian leaders prepared for academic success and life beyond high school.

Our Vision

Boldly Christian, academically challenging, and focused on excellence — CORLHS is a reflection of the face of Christ in our community and the most desirable high school in the mid-Kaskaskia River area.

Leadership With Purpose

Don Duensing

“At the time in their lives when teenagers face the greatest temptation to make unhealthy life decisions, CORLHS surrounds students with positive influences in a family-oriented atmosphere. Dedicated and professional leaders, faculty, staff and volunteers serve as Christian models, displaying Jesus’ love through their words and actions.”

“Christ Our Rock is open to all families in our community, providing an educational alternative while sharing with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
